Press kits are the heart of promoting a band professionally. They are the ideal and respected way of promoting a band and, once created, should be distributed to every record label and music promoter possible. Create a memorable and recognizable logo for your band and make sure it is highly visible on the press kit. Press kits should include professional photos of the band as well as bios of the member and details about the band itself. Contact information must be included. Include a sample of your music in the kit. Press kits are a surefire and professional way to draw notice to your band from the field.
