One in the album charts in 1981. Escape from the album produced three hit songs that reached the top 10 the top of the charts, "Who’s Cryin “Now", "Do not Stop Believin”", and "Open Arms". The song "Open Arms" Journey is the most successful singles, for six consecutive weeks being ranked number two, and debuted at No. 13 Billboard Hot 100 in late 1982. In the videotape, the MTV recording one of the two concerts Journey is all sold out. Recording took place during a Journey gig in front of more than 20 thousand fans in Houston, Texas, six November 1981.

Journey founding members gathered in San Francisco in 1973 thanks to the help of former Santana manager Herbie Herbert. Originally they were named the Golden Gate Rhythm Section because it is meant to be a band accompaniment for singers artists in San Francisco Bay Area. Former Santana guitarist Neal Schon on lead guitar and Gregg Rolie on keyboards and vocal major.
