Top Five Karaoke Songs of All Time (At Least for Me)

We all had held a microphone and sang in front of a karaoke once in our life, this is my life of my most favorite Karaoke songs in my opinion.

Karaoke is the favorite past time of most Filipinos, and my family is one of them. We just love singing, even if it the talent does not really run well in the family. Here is my ultimate favorite Karaoke songs of all time.

  1. Total eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler: Who doesn’t know the lyrics of this song? This is the ultimate song for me, high pitch, angry voice, with the music thumping your adrenaline, and it just makes you feel like a star and the karaoke club is your stage. Rock on!
  2. Alone by Heart: Even if I’m out of tune, I would still sing the song, even if the neighbor is already cursing me and the dog is scampering under the bed just to stay away from the sound of my screeching voice trying to reach Heart’s version of the song. Total rock star feeling.
  3. Top of the World by The Carpenters: It’s cheesy I know, but I would assure you, by the end of the song, everybody in the place would be singing along with you. We all say it’s cheesy, but we all know the lyrics by heart. And this song would never fail to give me a 100 rating in any karaoke or videoke machine, even if I am totally out of tune.
  4. Wannabe by Spice Girls: It’s the total girly song, best sung with friends, or cousins on my experience. We never end a Karaoke session without singing this song. It’s happy, and fast paced, and just gives you the feeling of being a Spice Girl, even if you’re too old, and you don’t have any talent whatsoever.
  5. Bring Me To Life by Evanescence: You would hurt your vocal cords by trying to sing the song, but once the music started playing, you cannot just stop yourself from singing along. How I wish I could reach the highest part of the song, but of course it’s just in my dreams, so I stick to the rap part that I can sing even if I’m not looking at the screen. Bring me to lifeee!!!
  6. I’ll put number 6 because I feel really guilty not putting Bon Jovi on the list, all their songs are Karaoke worthy, and would just make you stand up, stomp your feet, sing at the top of your lungs and hold your hand up high like there is a crowd of people singing along with you. Livin’ n a prayer, It’s my life and Always are my personal favorites.
