Top 10 Rihanna Songs

Within a couple of years, Rihanna has become one of the hottest music stars in the world, both musically and physically. I think people forget though that she is still only 22 years old, and she has many more singles in her yet, and it’s a tribute to her that she has managed to create some amazing songs. For me, Rihanna doesn’t have the best vocal voice but she makes up for that with brilliant catchy singles and typical “Rihanna songs.”

With that in mind i have decided to create a top 10 Rihanna songs list which will go through Rihanna’s songs in order of my favourites. Some are missing because she has more than 10 great hits, so to get the top 10 Rihanna songs they are going to be excellent.

10.  Live Your Life ( By T.I featuring Rihanna)

Though Rihanna only features on this single, she typically adds Rihanna style to it. This single could not have been the same without her. I just love it, in fact if I’m feeling a bit down i put this song on and it makes me feel great again. Reached number 1 in the US and number 2 in the UK.  I also love T.I’s honesty with the way he says stop looking at what you haven’t got and start being thankful for what you do have. So true…

09. Rude Boy

I wasn’t keen on this when it came out but the song grew on me and now it’s one of my favorites. Rude Boy is Jamaican slang for lawless males and the whole song is talking about these males. The video is fantastic and simple at the same time, with the vibrant colours. It is definitely different from anything she has or had done before and that’s why she is so brilliant because she tests new waters. Has to be a top 10 Rihanna song.

08. What’s My Name? Ft. Drake

What’s My name features Drake and is from Rihanna’s new album, Loud. There are fans and critics for this song because of the sexual nature of it, but everything today seems to be about sex so you can’t blame Rihanna for going with a trend and what sells. I personally love the sound of the track and it’s easy listening, which is great.
