Topd 10 CD sales of the 2009, a boost to the CD Industry.
The CD industry received a much needed boost with the death of Michael Jackson, which sold seven million albums of his whole repertoire, 10.2 million downloads of songs and 1.3 million DVDs. The Beatles followed in September with the expected arrival of their catalog remastered, which accumulates two million records sold and more than a million copies of the video game Rock Band, which accompanied the launch.
Now the ten releases, 2009 Best Sellers in the U.S.:
1.Taylor Swift Fearless
Total Sales: 2,604,000

2. Lady Gaga The Fame
Total Sales: 1,823,000

Boyle 3.Susan I Dreamed a Dream
Total Sales: 1,803,000

4. Hannah Montana Hannah Montana: The Movie Soundtrack
Total Sales: 1,740,000

5. The Black Eyed Peas E.N.D.
Total Sales: 1,554,000

6. Eminem Relapse
Total Sales: 1,551,000

7. Andrea Bocelli My Christmas
Total Sales: 1,516,000

8. Jay-Z The Blueprint 3
Total Sales: 1,393,000

9. Kings of Leon Only by the Night
Total Sales: 1,276,000

10. Nickelback Dark Horse

Wow! Lady Gaga’s Fame has sold a lot. Good post. I love Michael Jackson. I have all of his CD’s.
