Top 10 bands (rock) surveyed and the results.
There are numerous amounts of rock bands. With this survey/poll I released a few months ago, the results show:

For the fast paced, lively music you are looking for.
9. White Stripes
If you are looking for a unique, funky, but not overlyfunky band that is plays some really good songs, including blue orchid and seven nation army are some very popular songs.
8. Metallica
Great music. Very popular and is known for their great guitar plays.
