Every time I find an artist that I am in love with and will buy everything they do and will tell all my friends about them soon they become huge. Worst part of it is when after they do hit the top, I find myself constantly saying that I introduced everyone to them. Yet, no one remembers it.
About two years ago, I was just looking for some new rap music to listen to (This is my favorite kind of music). I came across the artist called ATL. No not the city, he is from Atlanta and decided that this would be away to put himself to the top. Well Jeffrey Johnson Jr., changed his name, now everyone knows about him. Roscoe Dash has become one of the top rappers in the game today. I of course treating his career like my little baby. I have both his mixtapes, all his singles, music videos, and all the songs he is featured in. He truly is an artist that I have followed ever since he would sing with Travis Porter.
Now I am probably the most excited that I have been about him, I have been counting down to his release of his new CD “Ready Set Go” due to release the 28th of March 2011. Originally it was suppose to come out October of 2010. But, I have been telling all my friends to get ready for it. Well i knew about the song “No Hands” by Waka Flocka Flame feat. Wale and Roscoe Dash before pretty much everyone cause i got that mixtape the day it came out. Well I told everyone about him in it cause i love roscoe in that song. Well no one remembers me introducing them to him. I mean eventually he was going to get noticed but now i get no credit.
It is a really frustrating thing cause being probably his number one fan i would like some cred. O well guess I will introduce the next great rapper everytime and take no credit. By the Way just look up D-Pryde that is my next Roscoe Dash.
