Journey is a very popular band. Whenever you hear their song on the radio, you immediately start singing along. It contagious! Journey is a rock band that was formed in early 1973 in the beautiful city of San Francisco. The members include Neal Schon, Ross Valory, Jonathon Cain, Deen Castronovo, and Amel Pineda. Some of them are former members from the bad, Santana. Journeys first album was released in 1975. It was a pretty big hit. During the 1980s, Journey began to get more popular. They had hit songs like, “Don’t Stop Believin”, “Any Way You Want It”, and ” Open Arms”. It hit number one on the Itunes charts. “Don’t Stop Believin” became their signature song. These songs were featured on the new album, Escapein 1981. It sold nine times platinum and number one on the album charts.The band stayed at the number 2 for six weeks. Later, MTV showed one of their sold out shows. It was in front of over 20,000 fans. Journey had then become a one hit wonder. About 2 years after that, Journey experienced some bad luck. The band had broken up in 1984. their albums then sold immediately. They sold more than 15 million copies. In 1995, they finally reunited. It had been a very long 10 years. Right after they reunited, they released another album. From then on, Journey had become a success. The band is still playing.
