The Song of Selena

One day I bought the Movie Selena to watch played by Jennifer Lopez. I didn’t get to see much of Selena, but I loved her songs. Some of them I did not understand, but I could tell they were great songs.

One day at work, a song of my own came to my mind about Selena while I was building a module for a console. When I first heard that she had died in 1995, I was sad and hardly knew her. There are not many singers like Selena. She was special, and she had real music. From television and the stories that I heard, Selena was a good girl. She was someone I would have like to have known. With feeling, I was able to write the words to my song about her.

You know, Selena is someone that will rise again in God’s time. That is my message. God’s time might be judgment day when everyone will rise. God also lets me know that some of the dead could rise right now today according to our faith.
