World music legend Rod Stewart will hold a concert at the Jakarta Convention Center on January 31, 2012. This concert is part of a world tour titled The Greatest Hits Tour. Jakarta is the only city in Asia to be visited by Rod Stewart in this tour before continuing to Australia.

The Greatest Hits Tour concert will be presenting songs from Rod Stewart’s hits as well as an opportunity for fans in Indonesia to see and enjoy the sound directly the charismatic singer. For two hours, we will be treated to an exclusive and intimate show with a British musician who has sold more than 100 million albums around the world.

This concert will be supported by the latest speaker system, beautiful lighting, artistic decoration, giant screens, and a magnificent stage setting. Jakarta Convention Center itself is known to have the best sound system in Indonesia.

The concert was reportedly spend around USD 20 billion and is the most expensive concert ever staged in Indonesia. A total of 3000 seats prepared for the audience includes six categories with ticket prices ranging from Rp 1.5 million to $ 15 million. Tickets can be purchased alone already since December 7, 2011.
