Lyrics, videos and fun reviews of 10 rock songs from Kiss, Poison, Def Leppard, Jace Everett, Kid Rock, Bryan Adams, Jon Bon Jovi,

Rock n’ roll is as dirty as parents suspected. It is also very fun. They probably wouldn’t have panicked about Elvis Presley if they knew what the glam rockers would have in store for them decades later. This post is like a sequel to my 10 great rock songs about sex.
Here we go for another 10:
* KISS – I was made for loving you
Maybe my mind is dirty but hey, I don’t think my dear KISS members are talking about romance here exactly either. Take a look:
“Tonight I wanna give it all to you
In the darkness
There’s so much I wanna do
Now, while KISS members are ugly- (excuse me, but they are. Especially with the make-up. Hey, I love the image but let’s not talk about “sexy”)- there is hardly anything more fun than dancing with an attractive stranger you just met while this song plays in the background. Yeah, I was pretty lucky. The stranger knew the lyrics and he could dance. Now, that was a good night.
“Oh, can’t get enough, oh, oh ,I can’t get enough, oh, oh…”
* Jon Bon Jovi- Queen of New Orleans
Jon is not that “nice”. I mean you remember the Bon Jovi song “Lay your hands on me”, right? Well, that one is featured on my previous list so here is a solo dirty work from Jon. I love this one. Yes, I am biased: I love Bon Jovi, and Jon Bon Jovi. I love rock n’ roll, I love fun, dirty songs and yep, I find Jon hot. But boys, the video is not exactly for girls. You will see what I mean:
“That night I made a move, man I fell hard
When I put my hands in her cookie jar
She was more than a girl, she was a cabaret star
I was a deer in the lights of a speeding car
Nothing’s what it seems
She was a Venus de Milo in her sister’s jeans”
This song is not the least bit romantic. And I love it.

I’ll always remember that video by Def Leppard. I had no idea what the song was about but boy it made me feel good – now I know why LOL;) Excellent selection and personal review of “10 Dirty Rock Songs” Zoey:)

Thanks a lot, Mila : ) Actually this one is the sequel. You should also check out the one on my blog: http://pinartarhan.com/blog/10-great-rock-n-roll-songs-all-about-sex/
I still have a few others I haven’t mentioned so a third is on the way. What can I say? Rock is never out of songs of mischief ; )

I guess it’s because I am a dude, but these songs don’t do any thing for me!! except Kiss’ “I was made for loving you.” it takes me back to when I was a Kiss crazy Kid ( that’s what my Mom called me) and saw that video!!

Ha ha. Well, maybe. But what they are supposed to do is to make you want to dance ; )

Toe tapping, head banging impressions all round for a damn good review and opinion of what for the most part is musical wishful thinking from testosterone filled musicians. Each one of these is fun in it’s own way. More than one I’d never heard, but enjoyed nonetheles. I really good tongue in cheek look at the subject Zoe.

Queen of New Orleans is one of my favorite tunes from Bon Jovi. He has so many good ones, I just really like that one. And of course, Kiss, Poison and Aerosmith…. well, they rock and are a little dirty, lol. Great post, Zoey.
