This effects pedal offers tones for every genre on music. It also includes a drum machine and tuner, which is very convenient.

The Digitech Modeling Guitar Processor RP100A has provided me hours of musical enjoyment. It has spiced up my practice time and helped me improve as a musician.

The processor features 80 presets created by popular guitarists and bands. No matter what genre of music you prefer, rock, metal, country, blues or alternative, this machine has the tones that you need. My favorite style is heavy metal and there are a few “crunch” tones on this processor that will blow your face off.

You can program your own tones by overwriting an existing preset or start from scratch. You can combine up to 11 effects at once and save them as user presets. Some of the effects include:

Acoustic modeling
Amp modeling
Auto ya
Cabinet modeling
Chorus
Compressor
Delay
Flanger
Noise gate
Panner
Phaser
Pickup modeling
Ping pong delay
Pitch shifter
Reverb
Tremolo
Wah

The user interface is simple and beginners can start playing as soon as the processor is out of the box. All you need is a guitar, amplifier and two cords (you can use the headphone jack if you do not have an amplifier). You can fiddle with the effects for hours or if you want to practice right away, select your favorite effect, push the drum button and start jamming

The Digitech Modeling Guitar Processor RP100A includes a drum machine with 30 pre-arranged patterns from numerous musical styles. You can adjust the tempo and volume of the drums as desired. The drum beats play in an infinite loop so they are perfect for improving your timing.

There is also a built-in chromatic tuner. This is very convenient because you can quickly tune your guitar without unplugging it and using a separate device.

This processor is great because you can get any sound you need without paying hundreds of dollars for a multitude of pedals. I paid $120 for the Digitech Modeling Guitar Processor RP100A, but it is an old model now, so you should be able to find it much cheaper. This is a great product for practicing, jamming with friends or even playing live gigs, so I highly recommend it.
