I’ve been listening to this exceptional band now for the past six months, but haven’t written an article about them yet, so I thought this would be the perfect time.
I really can’t get enough of incredible music, and I’m truly thankful for that! Everyday, it seems I come across a new song, a new artist that I’ve got to learn more about. Typically, I find that if I really love one song from a group, I’ll be sure to love at least 2-3 other songs by that same artist, if I’m lucky it’s even more than that!

So here’s a few of my favorite picks from this amazing group:

Good Life
“This could really be a good life”
This song always makes me feel like there’s never a reason to be sad ever again. The hope and energy in this song, reminds me that there’s so much to be thankful for, especially coupled with this homemade video. It’s carefree, fun and just full of life and happiness. It recognizes that things in life don’t always go as planned, but that through it all you can enjoy the good life. Love it.
Say (All I Need)
“Bless my soul, you’re lonely soul”
“All I need, is the air I breathe and a place to rest my head”
“Do you know what your fate is?”
From the beginning melody to the soft, romantic vocals, this song is the ultimate in love’s journey. The passion and ache in this song, touches the deepest reaches of my heart and in a certain frame of mind, can definitely bring me to tears. This song is a survivors song, not just from love, but from life’s struggles. It’s overflowing with life, hurt and beauty. It’s wonderful.
Mercy
“Angel of mercy how did you find me?”
“How did you pick me up again?”
“How did you move me, how am I on my feet again?”
Once again OneRepublic’s managed to touch my soul with this amazing song. This song is truly about gratitude for someone who gave another person a reason to live and hope again. It’s truly stunning. It sends the message about how important it is to live life to the fullest, how there are people (angels) in this world who will be there to save you and help you get to your feet again, now and always.
Right now OneRepublic’s one of my absolute favorite bands, hope you love them as much as I do!
