New Artists: Edition 7

These week is dedicated to new pop and rock artists.  Hope you enjoy and perhaps you can find some music in here that you like too!

 NeverShoutNever (Christofer Drew Ingle)

NeverShoutNever consists of 18 year old Christofer Drew Ingle.  Chris, or NeverShoutNever is considered to be in the Acoustic Pop genre.  Christofer started creating his music in 2007, and works on Loveway Records.  He plays the guitar, piano, ukulele, does his own programming, and does all the vocals.  He is a one man band, and does a great job with his profession.   Chris has toured with a lot of great bands such as; Forever The Sickest Kids, Hellogoodbye, The Scene Aesthetic, plus many others.

NeverShoutNever has put out a few EP’s, the main one being, Me and My Uke which came out in January.  He has a summer EP coming out in June.

The band Divided By Friday derives from North Caroline, and they are of the Progressive/Powerpop genre. 

There are four members in this band, which are:

-Jose Villanueva-Vocals, Guitar
-Matt Morgan- Guitar, Vocals, Keyboard/Programming
-Chris Thomas- Bass
-JP-Drums

They have had two EP’s out so far;
Maybe In A Memory EP (March 20, 2008)
This Side Up EP (June 10, 2006)

These talented musicians are from Greensboro, North Carolina.  They are on the The Militia Group record label. Mercy Mercedes’ genre of music is Powerpop and Rock.

Finally, we arive at The Summer Set.  Another wonderfully talented band that I would like to introduce.  They are a Pop, Indie, and Rock band.   This band comes from the wonderful state of Arizona.  They are on the same label as Mercy Mercedes,  The Militia Group.  So far they have has two albums out, Meet Me On The Left Coast, and In Color.
