Personal list of my top ten favourite avenged Sevenfold songs. Never heard of A7X? Try it you’ll like it!

I’ve been listening to music ever since my aunt bought me a shower radio, and my taste in music has changed drastically from hip-hop to classical and to rock and metal.  Anyways, after all the music I’ve listened to my favourite band remains to be Avenged Sevenfold.

Avenged Sevenfold is a metal/punk/hard rock band from California.  I love their music and how unique I find the vocals to be.  They have ‘screamo’ songs and acoustic songs so I listen to them in any mood that I am in and on top of that they have a song in a Call of Duty map (an Easter egg in Call of the Dead).  So if you like rock or don’t, try out these songs and maybe you’ll get into this band which is pretty much the reason I listen to rock at all.

  1. Chapter Four
The song refers to the story of Cain and Abel and it has a bit of scream in it. However, the singing is great in the chorus and in the last part.

  2. Afterlife
This is the 1st Avenged Sevenfold song I’d ever listened to, and the reason I started listening.

  3. Nightmare
This song is the name in their last album and the chorus sounds very nice in my opinion.

  4. Not Ready to Die
It’s featured in a CoD Map! And it has nice instrumental!

  5. Welcome to the Family
Everytime I hear it I sing along!

  6. Almost Easy
First time I heard it was in Rockband 2.

  7. A Little Piece of Heaven
The title kind of sounds normal (somewhat) and when I first heard the clarinet and instrumental I thought that it was a nice song. I didn’t pay much attention to the lyrics or the meaning, but after you listen watch the disturbing music video.

  8. Bat Country
I love the guitar in this as well as the chorus.

  9. M.I.A.
It stands for ‘Missing In Action’ (gamers would know) and this song is about war and it sounds wonderful and I find it moving.

  10. Dear God
Well this song really should be higher up in my list, but that’s only because I don’t feel sad all the time.  Everytime I listen to this I want to cry like a baby because this song is great for that. The singing and meaning is wonderful!

So that ends my list of Top Ten Avenged Sevenfold songs!  If you have your own personal list of favourite avenged Sevenfold songs or happened to try listening and liked it, please be sure to comment and say ‘hi’J.  I’ll appreciate any feedback and comments and be sure to like the article as well and if you have any metalhead friends share the article!
