My Favourite Songs of 2010

2010 was a great year for music. Here is the list of my favourite songs this year. I have a lot more, but I thought I’d stick to a top 10. Feel free to share your top 10 favourite songs of 2010 by placing a comment.

1. Arcade Fire – Ready To Start
   I have their CD and it is filled with other amazing songs. Arcade Fire is one of my favourite bands ever since I heard Rebellion (Lies).
   
   

2. The Drums – Lets Go Surfing
   I received their CD for my birthday and I’ve been listening to it ever since. Their songs are similar, but each one has something unique. I just love the sound of The Drums!
   
   

3. Kings of Leon – Radioactive
   A great song from an awesome band. I’m sure most of you have heard this song by Kings Of Leon and I think a lot of people love this song.
   
   

4. Two Door Cinema Club – Undercover Martyn
   I discovered this band this year, so I listened to some of their songs and I really like Two Door Cinema Club now. You should definitely check it out!
   
   

5. Ra Ra Riot – Boy
   Another band I had never heard of before until this year. Great song!
   
   

6. Vampire Weekend – Giving Up The Gun
   I’ve been a fan of Vampire Weekend for a couple of years now and I think this is one of their best songs. It’s really catchy.
   
   

7. Gorillaz feat. Daley – Doncamatic (All Played Out)
   I love how the Gorillaz always create so differently sounding songs. The co-operation with Daley was a good thing in my opinion, he has a great voice.
   
   

8. The Coral – 1000 years
   I actually only new ‘Dreaming of You’ by The Coral before I heard this song. But now I know they have a lot of other great songs.
   
   

9. The Ting Tings – Hands
   I think this is a really catchy song, I immediately liked it and it sticks in my head for days, but I don’t mind.
   
   

10. Klaxons – Echoes
    Another great song is Echoes. I think this is their best song.
