Take a look at the year in musical months. A musical journey through the calendar, from January to December.
We start each NEW YEAR with a fresh calendar, marking away the months as we go. Let’s take a look at the year in musical months.
January is sung by a group called Pilot. It has you singing even if you don’t want to.
February is the month when Valentine’s is celebrated by lovers, but Josh Grobon sings his February Song with a meloncholoy song.
March is commemorated with Marche Slave by Tchaikovsky
Oh those April showers are so welcome!
Come What May
Wildwood Flower is special to June Carter
On a July Morning you might get to hear Uriah Heep, playing a little bit of rock.
A Rhapsody from the August Rush movie with Jonathon Rhys Meyers (Henry VIII in The Tudors)
In September you may get a little Earth, Wind and Fire.
When summer ends take a look at the October Sky.
Fall (Autumn) can bring November Rain as Guns and Roses share with us.
The end of the year brings in December and Collective Soul
Author Note: My personal favourite month is April in this collection of musical months. Bambi is a winner every time. For more musical moments you might enjoy some more of my compilations:

Thanks folks!
louie jerome January 13th, 2010 at 5:03 am
I disagree with B Nelson, U2 is a great band but certainly not the best in the world, they pale into insignificance against bands like Queen, Dire Straits and Fleetwood Mac.

My husband did a really great copy of the “who shot Bambi?” song by the sex pistols, it was very sad and slow, I loved it!

Thanks for sharing, I haven’t thought about June Carter in years. I grew up listening to Mama Maybelle and all the sisters. It was a treat seeing her again.
