Music Thoughts

My parents introduced me to many different styles of music and several different artists while I was growing up and I have grown very fond of classical music as i have aged. Classical is the most peaceful music because it has so much going on but so little at the same time. Nothing but instruments and your thoughts. I also like soft rock and classic rock because it is usually mellower and the music has more of a message then pop songs and rap. I’m not saying i dont like pop or rap i just don’t prefer to listen to them because of the vulgarity and sheer lack of musical genius. Anyone can get on their computer and loop a track to sing along to. I can rap as fast as some of the fastest rappers andd you can understand what i am saying. People dont look beyond the image of the artist they just see other people who like them and follow along. The way people are with music disgust me because they like the music that is going to be forgoteen and left behind except by the ones who really like it. Flash artists are what we have now-a-days because they have there spur of the moment time where they are super popular and they die down just as fast as they rose up because they get repetitive and people start to realize they are nothing special and other people could be just like them. I’m ok with listeningg to the music i dont like for the people around me because i can find certain things about the song i can learn to like. Led Zeppelin is probably my favorite band because they have a vast variety of sound and they can make a song out of anything in my eyes. Fleetwood mac is also one of my top favorite bands because of the changes in the band and how they stayed great over the years even with the changes. Give real music a chance or try listening to something you have never given a chance. You never know there could be a genre of music you have never heard that just tickles your fancy in that special way.
