Miley Cyrus Picks a Fight

Nobody disses a Disney superstar.

The war of words between the alternative rock band Radiohead, which gave us the song Creep, and Hannah Montana’s pop rock teen superstar Miley Cyrus has two giants in the music industry putting their foot down on what they deem is wrong and what they believe, which is naturally their thoughts, as right.

Radiohead refused to meet Miley Cyrus who is just trying her best to be a normal teenager by asking her very own manager to introduce her to the band.

Meanwhile, Radiohead was probably also trying their best to put order in their chaotic world by refusing to meet a fan popularly known as Hannah Montana even though it was that fan’s manager who just asked out of the blue for a “meet them” with his famous client.

Now, I am also a no fan of people just barging in on my schedule even when I was just spinning discs for a living. Fan or not I should’ve been warned of the possible “meet them and greet them” first. With all the things going on in my life, order should always be the call of the day.

However, I was hurt for Miley Cyrus because she was dissed and received the reply, “We don’t do that.” from the band.

Do what for Chirst’s sake? We’re talking of a millionairess entertainer here.

This blog does not have the intent on siding with either one of them. I just want to point out that celebrity or not when a humiliation is feuled by comments from both parties defending his or her side then it’s only going to end up worse. Humiliatingly worse.

The only thing getting a positive boost in this scenario is the interest barometer prying money-making people in Hollywood is looking forward to.

True, Miley shouldn’t have had ranted and let the world know that Disney superstar as she was she was still ditched. Which thus resulted to the band’s comment that when Miley grows up she would learn not to veer towards “entitlement”. But hey, if a teenager rants on about something and I’m on the other end of that rant chant and I happen to be older in years, I owe it to her inexperience and my hard-earned years on this planet to just let her be: a teenager ranting and kicking about something. She’ll know better when she grows up.

Or so we hope.
