Mediocre we all are, it runs and rule the world, its in our blood and vein we cant simply do without it, so many things are not the best but they can be classify as good.
Mediocrity is now in vogue in every nook and cranny, when you turn your head to listen to music beintg play you will clearly admit to your self that its not good as the music of the 90’s. But if you can’t beat them you have to join them, no doubt music is not like before is not what it use to be, but no one can blame the artiste of today superstatrs like Michael Jackson and r. kelly with diva like Whitney Houston and Celine dion have sang and written all the song left in our system, even i myself in my yet unfinish book, i have an idea of a song i plan to write but found out that people like r. kelly, michael, whitney and celine dion have either sing about it or close to what i plan on writing, so that also make me a mediocre but one thing about music of today is the strange way it impact on people both young and old, if a young boy of 8 years already r. kelly song, that was sang in the 90’s he will surely know the new song of Bruno mars or even Britney spears. In any case mediocrity is part of our everyday life, the way music is being package and marketing is absolutely top notch with the invasion of various music software and what about their video its just out of this world, its only in the new generation of music you will see a singer or a rapper put on only bra what the americans call bikini in their video at least if theres no more song viewers and music lovers are giving the pleasure to see what will stimulate them. Perhaps only rap and country music can stand the test of time because rap sometime talk about what goes on in the society and country music as well. although some song can be put under the mediocre level but quite a few are not just there, radio station play these song to make there radio station the numuro uno and of course hype the artiste to make them get the attention of their fans. In order not join the bandwagon of mediocre music i chose to write for triond.com hope there is no mediocre at triond or in everywhere else. though writing is different from music if you are not a good writer you are simply not good at it, is as simple as that. Like a Pope once said true ease in writing comes from art not chance, very merry writing christmas to everyone.
