Little Richard

An original.

Like Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, The man with the mouth, is an original. He might have borrow his style off of many others. But he was true to his forceful style of singing. He was straight in his style of writing. While the white artists who cover his songs might have water down the lyrics. He kept them real.

Elvis, probably the only one I can think of, who didn’t. Because like Richard, the man from Memphis was an original. And just kept the songs he sung true. I remember Jackie Shane, of the sixties was something of a sixties Prince. An as much as he claim to be the originator of Rock and Roll, that will always be debated, to who started this form. But we can give him credit for contributing to the musical style. Little Richard, will always be a wild kind of star.

Richard songs was direct. No watering down of the lyrics. And that played apart in the race records. White was living in that place of disillusion. And was caught off surprise by the truth.

Parents who kept listening to Bing, and Dean. Was spin of their heads by the guy from Georgia.
