This is the article where I will post links to good pages, tips, videos and help to learn the Hardstyle-Melbourne shuffle.
This is a very good video to help beginners. Try as much as you can and learn as much as you can in the beginning:
This video is from WeDanceHard.com. An extremely good organisation which shuffles and tries to learn other people the dance. I myself bought their DVD which can be found at this link: www.WeDanceHard.com
You can watch the free “basics tutorial” here:
Also, I found this great video explaining how to move your feet in 45 degrees. (watch for yourself) This is the V-Shape/T-Shape. This video is very detailed so i highly recommend you to watch it if you wish to learn The Melbourne Shuffle:
That was everything from here.. Hope you enjoyed it, and remember: It should, as everything, be fun. So don’t get stressed or angry because you can’t do the steps right the first time. Just practise !
Good luck from here =)

This is just a few helping videos. I hope you’ll learn it some day
In the beginning i think the running man is a little weird and difficult to learn but yea.. The shuffle is difficult.

Been doing this for about 3 days now, got the running man down pretty good, shuffle is questionable. I have been able to move around a bit to the beats and get in some kicks/spins. I’m sure it comes with time, but damn I’m sore and I have to do a lot of labor with my job, so it’s killing me, ha ha.
Should I just practice each thing until it’s just set in my mind and then move on to the next and once it’s all down start mixing, or just try to combine everything now like I am?

Oh that’s good to hear!
I know you feel you’ve got hold of something already but believe me.. in 1 month you’ll think, damn I can do it 100 times better now. Practice practice practice
Remember.. When it hurts you’re doing it right. Just remember to heal for some time before you keep going on with the shuffling.
I think you should try and mix it yourself. Creating your own style is the best you can do. It’s cool to do like other people, but if you can make your own style, you’ll get famous.
of course you should learn the different parts but mix it your own way!
Happy shuffling!!
