Classic television theme songs of the 60’s & 70’s.

HUM THAT TUNE FOR ME!!

Have you ever watched a tv show that you literally couldn’t get the theme song out of your head?? Something that’s quite catchy, that you find yourself singing it all the time. You can’t focus on the television show, because the theme has you mesmerized.

When you hear the lyrics, “Here’s the story of a lovely lady,.” you immediately know that’s the theme song for The Brady Bunch..   Or better yet, “Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip.” Any one with a brain cell, would know that was the theme song to Gilligan’s Island . Even those who never watched one episode.

Most of the more popular television theme songs, are that of the past.  Today many shows don’t even have a theme song. They’ll either skip it entirely, or use a pop song instead.  CSI is the best example of that. The song by the Who, Who Are You. In fact, all of the CSI theme songs are pop songs of today.

Nowadays they download these songs to use on people’s cell phones, very often for a nominal fee.
