Middle name Carl.

Known by many situationalnames. The man who replace Damon Harris, who replace Eddie Kendricks. Or Glenn Carl, Leonard. But another member worthy of honorary mention. He held up the tenor/falsettapart with true honor. Very respected for his part on the Temptations “Silent Night.” second version. While true fans known Kendricks crew did a version decades ago. The Gil Askey production was produced in the old school tradition of Motown. And with his Temptations version group. This man still has the vocals to complete against all who held that role referred to as the Eddie Kendricks role. Wouldn’t it be great if Damon Harris, Ron Tyson, and Leonard did a song together. The tenors of the Temptations.
As with many ex members of the most famous soul group. Glenn, don’t get negative with anyone. Truly get honor and salutes to his former mates of the Temptations. Glenn on the Internet does a great version in honorof Eddie Kendricks, song “Can I”. Which is a fantastic recording ever made on Eddie solo effort.

The Temptations do the Temptations is a great albums by the line up of: David(Melvin)English, Otis Williams, Richard Street, Dennis Edwards, and Glenn Leonard. One cut in general that stands out is “PUT YOUR TRUST IN ME” led by Glenn and finished off by Dennis. Reminiscing of “You’re my everything” and produced and completely written by the group. Shame it wasn’t promoted by their label. But if you’re a true fan. Locate it and lend an ear.

Here on the Internet, is a great vocal rendition by Glenn. They the Temptations recorded it on Atlantic Records after the Motown.
Every Ready Love, deserved to be listen too. With their blue jean vest outfit on . They seem to enjoying the song. And just looking at the video of the group after Glenn join, show the progress of him. From the live concerts to the Soul Train jam.

Gcl. still has the ability to sing with clarity, the songs he sung with the Temptations. Glenn as with Damon, seems to honor the legend. While Otis, is hurting the name with all the lawsuits.
Whatever group using the Temptations should stop. The reviews or revue, is not hurting Otis owning. People know if they want to listen to the Temps or reviews. It’s there money for the tickets.

When he first join the group. He looked shot. After a little success. He probably became one of the most image concious member. Replacing Damon, had to be a blessing and a pressure job to fulfill.
