32 Leaves

32 leaves is an alternative metal band based out of Arizona. They play music that can generaly be described as metal but has some passiveness to it as well. Ambient, yet reserved, the band has 1 CD out (Welcome to the Fall, 2005) and has a second due out in March of 2010. They are also Available on Itunes.

10 Years

The band 10 years is my personal favorite band in the world. A 5-some from Tennessee, they possess talent unseen before in the musical world. Their powerful vocals drive the band and their ambient natural sound makes them one of a kind. They have released 3 CD’s in the past (Killing All that Holds You, The Autumn Effect, & Division). They are also Available on Itunes, with many alternate makings of their songs and bonus tracks.

Revis

A post-grunge band that disbanded in 2005 still deserves some recognition. They’re by no means a flash in the pan band. With the release of their CD “Places for breathing” in 2003, they topped the charts for quite a while. More of a passive band, Revis sounds nothing like post-grunge popular bands like Creed (thank God!).

Taproot

Taproot has been a together since the late 1990’s. With their progression from Rap-Metal to a more passive nu-metal style they never cease to amaze. Their concerts are always upbeat and their fans loyal. If you didn’t like Taproot 8 years ago, give them another shot. I’m sure you’ll be able to see the maturity displayed from this band. (they have 4 CD’s : Gift (2000), Welcome (2002), Blue Sky Research (2005), & Our Long Road Home(2008))

Audiblethread

Audiblethread is an emerging band from the Cleveland area. They recently released their first full length CD in 2009. They can be found on Myspace as well as Itunes. This tough band has a rugged history and deserves more recognition than they get. Their Live shows are phenomenal and an awesome display of emotion.
