A man who held his own.

He step to the microphone and left his marked. The one thing we fans can’t do is compare him to Davis Eli, Ruffin, known as David. The vocal tones was different. Dennis never got to work with the romantic composer of the earlier year. Who we know to be Smokey. Because Whitfield had taken over production.
But Dennis can carry and hold his own on love songs. On Since I lost you, with the Temps, he shows he can deliver the goods. Now we all admit My Girl, just can’t be interpreted like David Ruffin. When Dennis sing it. The song tenderness is removed. But his feelings are intact. If you needed to get a stern message across. Then Mr. Edwards could do it. On the song for you album. The memories song would have you asking where Dennis at.
Because his vocals are tone down. And like David Ruffin. Dennis is consider the lead of the Temptaion. Even while Otis is still touring. What so intriguing The Temptations Review group fronted by Dennis Edwards is consider a better group in style and presentation than Otis Williams, who’s the next member going to be group?
All Dennis Edwards fans. Check his group out. Although Ali Woodson isn’t with them anymore. He’s still respected by Dennis hard core fans. And we must salute Mr. Edwards, he recruited Paul Williams Jr. to join the Review. Paul Senior would be proud. And I’m sure his son has got to be delighted to be with Dennis.

Dennis Edwards is the face of the living Temptations of the sixties. Otis can’t argue that. Like Harold Melvin was founder of the Bluenotes. It was Pendergass who bought them promience on Philadelphia International. And we fail to point out Dennis, did great in the Contours. Listen to him on “It’s Growing” the hit by the Tempations, that the Contours also did. For Gordy to put him on retainer. He must have been a threat.

As all songs are diffinently David, that he sung on. Papa was a rollin’ stone is truly Edwards. Others can put their voice to it. But none can match his reading of the lyrics. Or Alabama shouts on Cloud nine and others

It’s great that Dennis Edwards get to continue the legacy of the Temptations. After Otis is gone. The original members can’t lay claim to nothing but being all together.
And really looking at the picture of Otis and Dennis group. Dennis have had less personnel changes. And good majority of his lawsuits are coming from Otis.

Paul William Jr. That’s him in the Temptations Review with The Legendary Dennis Edward. Look like his father. And we must give honor to Mr. Edwards for the gesture. And respect to Mr. Williams Jr. for the challenge. And he can do the Temptations routines.

Edwards never talk about the pressure he must have been under stepping into Ruffin position. He succeeded, but it must have been there.

Yes I agree that Dennis Edwards did make the group because he brought in a larger crowd with him. The sexiness and polish style that he had made the temptations what they are today. Dennis was very out going with the group. He just should have gotten a solo career earlier because of the confussion that came along with replacing David.

Wow and Wow this is interesting, I must say that Dennis is a very good guy who should be allowed to perform as he wishes. He has made the Temptations what they are today. He brought them into the power and political songs such as “No matter how hard you try,” Power, and War. All of these songs made the audience more aware of what our country was going through as we know it. He was more out going than the others. When the Temptations performed live the whole world reconized Dennis Edwards because of his personality. Once again I have ot say Wow and Wow. From a long time friend of Dennis Edwards, I wish all of you Love. “The Doctor is in.”
