Dance Gavin Dance’s New Song,

Dance Gavin Dance released a new song yesterday, this is my opinion on it.

Dance Gavin Dance released a new song last night from their upcoming album, Downtown Battle Mountain II. Since I am a Dance Gavin Dance buff, I thought I would give my final thoughts on the musical composure that they produced.

“Heat Seeking Ghost of Sex” by Dance Gavin Dance

Originality: 5.7 out of 10

Since Jonny joined the band back with Jon Mess and the original line-up, Jonny is going to have to try and clean up the scraps Kurt had left in their music. Knowing Jonny, it was obvious that he knew he didn’t need to do anything except sing some egotistical lyrics into a microphone. He didn’t clean up Kurt nor match up to Kurt’s creativity, vocals wise. Jon Mess is what saved his rating. Jon had definitely improved when it comes to vocals. He definitely shows up Jonny in this song in talent.

Lyrics: 7. 6 out of 10

Once again, Jonny’s lyrics are very mediocre so it can bring down the maturity or creativity when it comes to lyrics. Jon Mess, once, again is the magic savior.

The song has a rap part with Mess and Swan together:

“Heat seeking ghost of sex, don’t pay attention to my mild case of blow tourettes, word…”

That is not all of it but it is very catchy.

“Wow” Factor: 9.0 out of 10

It’s their, it may be hard to find at first through all of Jonny’s half assed harmonies. Look into Mess’s lyrics, you’ll see it.

Final Opinion: 8. 9 out of 10

I’ll give Dance Gavin Dance the full 10 if they dump Jonny and bring Kurt back.
