Music has the potential to increase revenue for a business when used in visual advertisements. Have you ever considered creating your own musical commercial?
The advertising costs that a business can incur can be expensive. These costs can be reduced with Internet resources and creativity.
Have you ever saw a commercial on television and hummed the jiggle? Did you watch a movie because of the soundtrack music playing in it? I am sure we all have purchased a product or an album based upon marketing that entertained our eyes and ears.
Internet Advertising can be just as important as local television or print advertisements. How quick are you to click on a favorite website before you read something in print copy? Do you think revenues increase with online advertising versus print publications? The outlets are limitless to post your commercial creations. You can upload your commercials to YouTube.com; Myspace and Facebook. You can send your links in an email marketing campaigns to potential clients of your product.
The Internet has no shortage in Royalty Free Music to use in your commercial projects. The websites request a credit given to their works when you publish their content on the web. There is free talent out there for any advertising project you would like to try.
The process is simple. The primary tools you will need for your own commercial are: a video camera of decent recording quality and sound. A notepad to draft up a commercial dialogue detailing the message you would like to say in 30 seconds to 1 minute. Next, determine the musical genre that you would like to accompany your commercial message. The music is as important to final production as your message of persuasion.
Now it is time to put your thoughts into actions. First, think creatively of how you would like to present that message and if any volunteers would be needed to help you act out this scene. Second, determine how to create your atmosphere for your commercial. You can use an indoor wall covered to display your new vision or you can use the great outdoors with live shots. You can do split shots of recording and edit in the final production. It is your creation of what you want to show to your potential customers.
Windows Movie Maker allows anyone to create their own videos, commercials, karaoke live concerts and book trailers. You can edit movies, splice scenes, do voiceovers, input music tracks, add headings and titles to your own creations of quality. It is a nice asset for any new business owner to use as a marketing tool. The potential to create these advertising tools is only limited by the time and creativity that you possess.
This Internet commercial I created displays two primary objectives. It puts a live person with a name of a business and it shows the imagination asset that it takes to be a website designer for potential clients. The fun factor of the project was an added bonus.
My daughter and I both created the concept as news reporters for our roles. We used her laptop notebook to create an electronic dialogue in Windows Movie Maker on her notebook. This was our visual aid of dialogue. We then used our camera on a tripod sitting in front of our dining room table. We then used a comforter on our wall and put a vase on the table as the official setting. We got dressed up for the roles were we were playing on film. This took about 10 hours to make with 7 video takes, dialogue errors, our inside house dog barking, cutting, cropping and editing to get to its final production. It was a project that we both enjoyed.
I could have paid an expert to produce the same objectives. However, it would not have produced the fun time my daughter and I had in sharing ideas an accomplishing the objectives we wanted ourselves. The small glitches and dog barking are just bonus features we decided to share with everyone for a smile and giggle.
The greatest rewards are not necessarily the ones that we financially benefit from; but the ones we walk away with a smile and loving memory.
