My thoughts on J. Cole and his album..
Cole World, real Cole World! Wasup everybody. Kid Replay here, and we’re about to talk about my father J. Cole. I love this man right here. He’s a killer on the mic and he’s a great man. One of the best rappers out there right now. #Realtalk. Here’s the problem though. He isn’t getting the recognition that he deserves. A lot of this is his fault, sadly. I mean, he’s a killer on the mic, but he ain’t so good at the whole business perspective, and he hasn’t been releasing any tracks that will attract people. On top of that, he’s trying to put out an album called Cole World: The Sideline Story. With the tracks he’s been releasing, no one is going to want to buy the album. Being a die hard Cole fan, I’ll listen anyway, but for the others, he’s not selling it. Like, let’s look at the list.
Now, looking at this list, let’s see which ones won and lost, according to a few friends and myself. Disgusting and Work Out. These are the actual SINGLES. The other three “wins” we’re just random tracks or tracks that was supposed to go on the mixtape before the album. So if these are the singles, imagine what the album is gonna be like. Which is why it’s gonna go from The Sideline Story, to The Unheard Story. Sad story, but true story. That’s all for today. Talk to you guys later. Replay out. Peacee.
