British live on a small island. But, there is no doubt that they are very creative when it comes to music. Some of the world’s best bands of all times came from that island. Those bands influenced the music industry in the whole world. And many of today’s musicians get their inspiration in some of the best British bands of all times. Here are the some of the best British Bands of all times.
Many people consider Led Zeppelin not only to be one of the best British bands, but as the greatest rock band in the world of all times. Back in 1970ies Led Zeppelin was undoubtedly the best biggest band on the planet. Just remember their hit such as Whole Lotta Love”, “Kashmir” and “Stairway to Heaven”. The “great four”, as some used to call Led Zeppelin, revolutionized the music world. John Bonham played the drums, John-Paul Jones was in charge for bass, Jimmy Page, one of the best guitarists of all time made his instrument sing, and how can we not remember Robert Plant, with his voice full of emotions. Believe it or not, these guys sold over 200,000,000 records worldwide. They are truly on of the best British bands of all times.
The Beatles were the first British band that managed to achieve global domination. With over a billion records soled worldwide, The Beatles are one of the most commercially successful music bands of all times. For international megastars – John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr were the famous Beatles. People used to call them “The Fab Four.” One thing is for sure; The Beatles are one on the best British bands of all times.
If you were the good kid in late 1960ies and early 1970ies you listened to The Beatles; and if you were rebellion, you listened to the Rolling Stones. They portrayed the image of the bad guys. Not only that. Rolling Stones still play, they still go on world tours, and they are still one of the best British and world bands. Just remember their great songs like “Brown Sugar” “Satisfaction” and “It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll”. They have a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and they still rock!
Recently a Swedish DJ Eric Prydz made remix of their song “Another Brick in the Wall”. This was the first time that the guys from Pink Floyd allowed someone to make a remix of their song. And as the guys from the band said, “We love it!” There is no doubt that DJ Eric Prydz made an excellent job. His version of the song is called “Proper Education.” Never the less, Pink Floyd is undoubtedly one of the best British bands of all times.
It seems that guys from Iron Maiden can’t get enough. They sold over 75,000,000 records worldwide, have released 35 albums, and they still play around the world. There is no doubt that the guys from Iron Maiden were pioneers of the New Wave of Heavy Metal in the 1980ies. They inspired such bands as Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth. That made them one of the best British bands of all times.
If you think that there are some of the best British bands missing from this list, feel free to comment below.

I’m sure Ringo Starr would be quite disturbed to find that Paul McCartney is the only Beatle still alive according to your article.
Should have Deep Purple on this list too!

I think your list is very good apart from Iron Maiden which should quickly be replaced by bands like the “Who” and “Deep purple”.
Also, your description of Pink Floyd is EXTREMELY poor. Here is a much better one for you:
Pink Floyd, more than neing a band, it’s a kind of feeling, a vibe and an ethos. They wrote stonkers and you need to slit your bloody wrists to write some of their stuff. Their music is meant for the hard listeners who undertand and appreciate MUSIC. In 50 years, their music will still live and listen to. They will be classified with the likes of Beethoven, Mozart and co.
It is absolutely ridiculous to describe or associate the Floyd with your “DJ Eric Prydz”. It’s highly embarassing… and it only prove how intellectually inane you’re!
