B.A.P a Korean group debuted in 2012 brings a tougher side of boyhood. Be impressed with their music and style!
Best, Absolute and Perfect – The three words which totally describes a 6-member group from TS Entertainment totally bringing back the 90’s era of hip-hop style of outfit, and songs which calls for toughness and strong spirit of youth. Yong Guk, Himchan, Daehyun. Young Jae, Jongup and Zelo debuted in early 2012 with their debut title, Warrior, which exhibit their strong vocal, as well as clean and high-speed rap. Each of the members who possess distinctive vocal ability makes them a must-watch group in 2012.

Forget the all romantic-filled song of lovers telling how much they love their beloved, Warrior does not only shows good musical arrangement, but also a meaningful song, talking about the reality of everyone’s life. The social injustice which kills lots of teenagers, the stereotypical eyes which condemns other people and how there are people who actually feels like they need to stop it, although it sounds impossible. And my favourite part of the song is Zelo’s high-speed rap which can impress the rap-God, Outsider.
Check out their debut MV, Warrior.
Even though during their early debut, they have been dubbed as Block B wannabes for their hip-hopish style, they totally rub it off their anti’s faces when they come back with another strong track called Power. Again, they rock the stage with foot thumps, conquering the stage with grungey outfit and showing that boys will be boys. They are not your typical boy group with girlish member, cuteness loaded performances and brightly coloured stage outfit. Their third single No Mercy exhibit their bravery in maintaining their musical style since their debut. It is hard to find groups with the same type of songs three comebacks in a row, but B.A.P did it.
They don’t need jumpy and cutesy song to “expand” their audience, but they impress the new fans with their determination in performing their own style of music. What brings me to them is their hair style and colour which changes drastically in each comebacks. No need of long haired members, or too-spikey haired member, even the high school teachers will approve them because of their neatly trimmed haircut which shows their manliness, and Zelo’s curly hairs which stands out of them all.
Expecting another blow-up music after No Mercy, tough boys lovers should check these boys out and be impressed!
