After appearance of Slash, Super Bowl may meet the Guns N ‘Roses in 2012.
It’s just a rumor. But it may leave the rockers with the hair coat. According to a North American site, the Super Bowl can count on the return of guitarist Slash on its stage in 2012. But not as a guest but with his most famous band: Guns N ‘Roses. The long-awaited reunion of the original group of hard rock can occur at the halftime show of the next end of the NFL, according to the website kentsterling.com.
Since the mid 1990’s Guns N ‘Roses did not have a majority of its members considered classical training. Vocalist Axl Rose, who now leads the band, dismissed the former members, with the most notable absences from Slash and bassist Duff McKagan. Since then, no one talks about anything else except on the day they leave the differences aside and come back to the same stage. Slash recently said that if Axl apologized again. The singer denied any chance of rapprochement. And so the discussion continues …
And what a show the most important sporting event of the year, with billions of dollars and is accompanied by millions of fans of football? It would be the perfect opportunity, especially after the success of this year, which had the Black Eyed Peas and a share of Slash “Sweet Child O ‘Mine” cover of his former band.
Remember that the biggest names in music have already figured on the stage of the traditional game for 12 minutes Music: Rolling Stones, KISS, The Who, Paul McCartney, U2 and Michael Jackson among others. According to the U.S. site, negotiations are just beginning and until now rolled out some preliminary conversations. And only. But it costs to keep a little hope, right?
