Adele Singing Someone Like You From The Number One Album: 21

Adele is an English singer/songwriter. Born in May 1988, the young star is well on the way to becoming a huge star.

Adele was the first winner of the Brit awards Critics choice in 2009. Since then she has gone on to have huge success with top selling singles such as Chasing pavements and Rolling in the deep. More recently, huge success has come from her current single Someone like you, which is taken from Adele’s record breaking album, titled 21.

Someone like you was at the number one spot for four weeks.

Currently Adele’s album 21 has had the number one spot on the charts for 11 weeks, and the album 21 is predicted to stay in the charts for the entire summer. This is the longest any female solo artist has held the top spot on the album charts consecutively.

One of the more appealing things about Adele herself, is that she all about the music. Adele isn’t some glamorous, pasted in make-up, wannabe singer. She is the real deal, with real talent, but she could also be the girl next door.
