To One Legendary Piano Man, the Legends Never Die.
Many people may not know this, but growing up I dabbled a lot in music. It has been one of the great passions of my life (even though when I was young I had no vocal training) I am training my voice now and will eventually post the resulting music for you all to hear. As it stands now my voice needs improvement,I’ll be the first to admit. Anyway, growing up one of my greatest music heroes was (and still is) Ronnie Milsap.
Ronnie is a brilliant and gifted pianist and a Legend in our Time. He has overcome a lot of adversity through the years and his life and career have been Amazing (that’s an understatement but there’s no words in any language quite fitting enough so, amazing will have to do.)
I read in an article that Ronnie was abandoned by his mother when she found out he was blind. Ronnie however was never ever one to let hardships beat him down. He met and conquered every obstacle put in front of him and always came out stronger for it.
Even when he is 80, I expect the greatest piano man on earth will still be thrilling the crowds.
I consider Ronnie a musical warrior, he’s an inspiration to millions worldwide and the man never seems to lose his drive and energy. It’s actually quite fascinating to see a Milsap performance. Thanks to the wonder of the music video I can honestly say I’ve seen him on stage even though I’ve never had the opportunity to set foot in a concert venue with him.
Perhaps, one day I’ll see him live.
Thanks for reading and God Bless.
