A sound is such a thing which gives us both pleasure and pain.
A song is also a sound, but it is systematic and harmonical. But the sound of a wind is not sweet and tolerable. There are some people who use to talk with a large sound which generally becomes very disturbing. Of course such people are also having some merits of talking in such a loud voice, in some particular (moment, time, situation) this voice is also liked by the people. In the schools and colleges, the teacher has to through out his voice in such a manner that his voice should have to reach the students of the last benches. The number of students is not same in all places, therefore the teacher has a practice to see the situation of the classroom and accordingly he has to through out his voice.
Sometimes, the crying of the child even becomes a matter of disturbance for the family holder for which he starts rebuking his wife for not consoling the baby. Even at night when the neghbourers are sleeping, I have this experience that if a baby of my nearby family starts crying suddenly then the sleep of other people get disturbed.
The sound less places are sometimes felt as the matter of fear especially in the dark. Some animals have the practice of finding their food by studying sounds in different corners of its surroundings. The blind (people, man, woman) are very having a practice of moving the sound in his/her surroundings. The sounds of different animals are different. The sounds of some animals are sweet and the others are harsh. The sounds of different vehicles are also different. The drivers are getting a so-called practice of driving his vehicle by listening the sounds of the vehicles coming from his back.
