Z-ro is finally sober and focused.

The Mo City Don speaks on coming up hard, revealing a very detailed and in-depth interview about his drug habit, his next album and squashing his beefs.

The Houston rapper, who’s been around since 1998, explains his evolution in hip hop and where he is today. He talks about ending his long time beef with fellow rapper Slim Thug, rolling dolo, upcoming collaborations, spending 10K a month on Kush, another 19K on syrup, but says he’s 100% drug free now.

He talks about how his days were completely wasted because he was f*cked up most of the time, with only two things on his mind, what he had to do to get more crunk and which chick did he have around to f*ck.

Z-RO, born Joseph Wayne McVey, speaks on his upcoming mixtape. He says one is a fraud and one is real. He’s been actively been going after bootleggers, who are selling his music.

Z-RO first hit the scene back in 1998 with his debut album, Look What You Did to Me. Z-Ro is also a member of the original Screwed Up Click. He came back in 2004 with his critically acclaimed Rap-a-Lot debut titled The Life of Joseph W. McVey.

Z-RO came back in 2005 with the release of Let the Truth Be Told, followed by his 2006 album I’m Still Livin’, which was released while he was imprisoned for drug possession. The album had positive feedback. His hometown paper the Houston Chronicle said it’s “one of the best rap albums to come out of Houston.”

Since then Z-RO has released a series of albums entitle Crack in 2008, Cocaine in 2009 and last years Heroin, which is the 14th solo album by Z-RO. Z-RO explains that his albums were a reflection of his habits he had with drug addiction. He talks about his love for money and how being fucked up messed up his game in the music business.

Z-RO is a one deep man, he is all about handling business on his own, he has no safety net or n*ggas, as he puts it, behind him. He’s been cleaning house so to speak. His drug habit was at least $10,000 a month for Kush. Z-RO has kicked the habit and is clean now. He’s back to grinding and making music and following the steps of Dr. Dre.
