Someone Gave Me a Guitar

I took a writing class and we did an exercise where we had to keep writing whatever came to our heads for one minute without taking the pencil off paper.

Someone gave me a guitar
I plucked it, strummed it, threw it out the window
Into the baby pool where babys drool
Losing minds finding conciousness
In dreams between the seams the cracking of bolts
Twisting metal into glass
Faster, slower, faster always moving
Improving by step, stepping stones
Letting go of and for whatever I call tangible
Tangerines end the scene
With something obscene an object you’ve seen
Shocked back to a beat, move feet
Faster, slower, faster, live it and dye it black
