It was the idea that came from little Tommy tupper, who sang for his supper…

People who love books are ready to do virtually anything, even sing for a library, according to students and teachers of the Ocoee Middle School (home of the Colts) in Florida. their new library is about complete. Reportedly students came up with a brilliant idea to re-write the lyrics of the Black-Eyed Peas, I’ve got a feeling song to ” Gotta keep reading. ” They sang the lyrics based on the importance of books and even made it to the Oprah Winfrey show. The school hired a professional song-writer who helped them prepare (for weeks) to receive a camera crew who filmed them with books in hand, singing in chorus on their school grounds as they performed the song. The audience was so impressed that Oprah was compelled to team up with school library make-over company Target, who pledged to bring new furniture, computers and at least 2,000 new books for the school.
