Lss to K-pop

Here I put a list of my favorite Korean Songs.

I can’t exactly remember when my K-Pop fascination started. Before, I used to love American and Mexican/Spanish music. I can still remember what Korean song I got LSS with. The song was “Lollipop” by 2NE1 featuring Big Bang. What even caught my attention was when I found out that one of the members of 2NE1 was Sandara Park. I know her because she used to do some acting career here in the Philippines. She even made some movies and several music albums here.

Lollipop was the first song I downloaded and just like a virus, a single Korean song immediately multiplied. Under my sub-consciousness, listening to Korean music became somewhat like a daily habit. While riding in a jeepney, a public transport utility in the Philippines, it is an imperative to put on my earphones and browse for Korean songs in my playlist. My playlist is actually categorized base on the languages: Korean, Filipino, English and Spanish. Listed below are the songs which I always listen to. They are ranked base on the number of times I played them.

1.      Fantastic Baby by Big Bang

2.      Blue by Big Bang

3.      Sherlock by Shinee

4.      I Am the Best by 2NE1

5.      Neverland by U-Kiss

6.      Bonamana by Super Junior

7.      Lucifer by Shinee

8.      Oppa Oppa by Eunyuk and Dong-hae of SJ

9.      Ring Ding Dong by Shinee

10.  Lollipop by 2NE1 ft. Big Bang

11.  Binguel Binguel by U-Kiss

12.  Fire by 2NE1

13.  Ugly by 2NE1

14.  Man Man Hani by U-Kiss

15.  Acha by Super Junior

Try to listen to this song and surely you will be hooked with them immediately. I actually realize that it is not really necessary to understand the song. The melody and beat are more important. Dance with groove with K-Pop! Sorry for the GG fans! I admire them but I love 2NE1 the most. Even if the song by BigBang topped the list, my favorite Korean boy band is still U-Kiss!
