How to Turn Youtube Videos Into Mp3s for Free

These detailed steps will explain everything along with screen shots – it will be very easy to turn music videos you want to see over and over just for the music into mp3s.

1. Go to https://www.youtube.com
2. Search your desired music video
3. Watch the whole video make sure that there isn’t too long before the music starts.
4. look up at the address bar
5. copy/cut the URL 
6. Open www.listentoyoutube.com
7. scroll down a little
8. Where it says enter youtube URL
9. Paste the Youtube URL into the box
10. Click “GO”
11. You then should see a blue bar appear near the bottom of the page.
12. When that is done you should see a link to download the mp3
13. If you are using safari and a window comes up and says…
14. Safari cant find the plug in.
15. Just click no
16. If the Download hasn’t started click the link under :Click below to download mp3.
17. Click save file
18. A window should come up where you should find where you want to save it to.
19. The file is Called  ”rename_your_file”
20. Just rename your file- the mp3 should start to download.

After the Download has completed: find your download, and play it to see if it’s working properly.

There are a number of websites that do the same thing, but I’ve found that this is the quickest and easiest to use.
