With their successful comeback world tour in 2009-2010 in sold out live concerts and a platinum-hit music album Revelation, Journey, now powered by new lead singer Arnel Pineda, tours the world again this year. The band’s first stop will be at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas with front act band Night Ranger.
From the U.S., Journey heads to South America in March and April, in Chile, where in 2009, Arnel Pineda was given the baptism of fire for his first ever live concert with the band. Next stops for South America will be Brazil, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
The band rests for the month of May and resumes the tour in June to rock the countries of Europe – the United Kingdom, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

Journey fans are also excited with the band’s new album which band leader and lead guitarist Neal Schon said would be a new concept of a rock album. It is also reported that lead singer Arnel Pineda contributed to the set of new compositions. Pineda’s inclusion into the band was well-accepted by the fans as attested by their sold-out concerts in 2009-2010 and the success of the Revelation album with their new hit single “After All These Years.” Pineda’s amazing voice and unique story of his discovery led the band to guest and appear in several top American TV shows like Ellen Degeneres and Oprah. With Pineda and Schon, the band is composed of veteran bassist Ross Valory, keyboardist Jonathan Cain and power drummer Deen Castronovo.

Thanks for your Journey and Arnel Pineda features! I’d like to ask that the Vegas date be updated to show the correct one: Feb 23. And for your readers’ benefit, the 27 cities are not quite the complete list yet! Thanks again!
