A couple of bands I have found that every music lover should hear.
Ok so, to start out im gonna start with a genre, not many people have heard of it and it takes some getting used to but it’s a very good genre for those who like heavier music. Screamo, basically, it has really rough vocals with heavy guitar parts. If you’re just getting into it i would suggest some songs like “Reinventing Your Exit” by Underoath and ”Live, Love, Die” by In Fear and Faith. I personally love Underoath. Not only are they an amazing band with good rough vocals and amazing clean vocals, but they are a christian group, and each line of every song has a hidden meaning, sometimes really deep.
So for our first Genre; Screamo. I’m going to recomend listening to In Fear and Faith, Bring Me the Horizon, Parkway Drive and The Overseer. although it’s gonna be hard for you to find the Overseer cd’s, you might look on youtube. I would definately recomend Underoath aswell but they are pretty well known.
So now time for genre #2; Indie. Since Most people have heard of this i wont go into detail about the genre, just a list of good bands. i personally love “NeverShoutNever!”. A one man band, with guitar and vocals played by Christopher Drew. I also enjoy Arcade Fire and The Postal Service.
I’m sorry that the list is so short but thats the only music that i really listen to. but really for finding new music, your best friend is youtube. Use the “related videos” sidebar and explore. I hope you enjoy the music listed in this article.
