The Vans Warped Tour has been a very popular reoccurring event since 1995. Every year hundreds of people swarm to this collection of punk rock, post-hardcore, metalcore, alternative rock, and hip-hop bands. A very important aspect of attending warped tour is planning.  Most thing at warped tour will go well if you plan ahead, this includes checking the weather(and planning accordingly), packing everything the night before, and deciding which bands you want to see before you get there.  Clothing is another is another very important aspect. Wearing comfortable shoes(not flip flops or boots), lightweight clothing, hats, and in general, clothes you won’t mind getting dirty, will prevent simple injuries that can easily be avoided.  flip flops, sandals, boots, skirts, vests, tripp pants, excessive jewelry, studded belts, and lots of makeup should not be worn as they will only cause problems. When attending Warped Tour, make sure to bring your ticket, directions, to the venue, cash, a light-weight backpack, sunglasses, sunscreen, water, a camera, sharpies(for autographs), cell phone, a poncho(if needed), and a change of clothes to leave in your car. While at warped tour make sure to check when your favorite bands are playing, get to the stages early, stay hydrated, eat, visit merch tents, prepare to receive free things, drop parents off at the reverse day care, know where to meet your friends, watch for crowd surfers, and watch the pits before jumping in.
