A special song from a hit film. This has special meaning to me. For someone I love very dearly.
Gran Torino was a hit film starring and directed by one of Hollywood’s most iconic figures of the past 50 years, Clint Eastwood.
But apart from the film being what I would consider a masterpiece, the title song, “Gran Torino”, performed by Eastwood and Jamie Cullum, holds special meaning to me.
I hope that the woman I adore can listen to this. She paints my heart with beautiful pictures. As I drive my own GT away from her, I just want her to know my heart sings the tune of this song and reflects the title above. For this is me.
Close your eyes and listen carefully to the haunting piano tones and carefully crafted words. A song that is different. One everyone should save for your own “private ears only” collection.
