Playing Guitar.

Playing the guitar is one of the best things that you can do. It is very good for the brain. When you play guitar it is like speaking another language that everyone can understand but not everyone can speak. It boosts your self esteem because everyone loves someone who can play music for them. Sure your fingers will start hurting and they may get blisters but it is worth it. If you know how to play guitar you can join a band or just jam with your friends.
Guitar is very simple to learn, you can learn the basics or dive into it and learn to play like Jimmy Hendrix. There are different ways of learning. You could teach yourself all you would have to do is go out to your local music store and pick up a few beginner guitar books and just work through them. You can also find a guitar teacher which would be more expensive but you get more out of it and you don’t pick up any bad habits playing guitar.
I think that the main reason for playing guitar is to have fun jamming out. That may not be the same for you but that is just my opinion. There are different kinds of music you can play rock, hard rock, metal, heavy metal, country, hip hop, rap what ever you choose. As you can see my favorite is rock, which is the kind of music I like to play. If you don’t want to buy music from a store you can go on the internet and find tabs for free. Tabs are another form of sheet music for guitar that is very easy to use you don’t have learn notes as soon as you see tabs you will understand how to use them. When finding tabs you have to be carful that you get the full and right version of the song. The next step is to figure out how the song goes and then memorize the music. You want to memorize the music because it is such a pain to carry around music and have you ever seen famous bands like AC/DC or Led Zeppelin on stage reading off of there sheet music.
It may take a little while to get really good at guitar but even just playing simple stuff like smoke on the water or iron man is still playing guitar.
