Updated info for body of article on opening Korg M50-88.

The Keyboard Guard Rail will automatically be dislodged from its position as you remove all the 13 screws indicated above.  If you want to replace a key, or other item, you’ll find it at Partsisparts.com.  The key assembly involves a thin metal spring that goes from the hammer assembly, secured at the hinge point and follows into the well of the plastic key. You will not have to concern yourself with the rubber contact panels and pads. To dislodge a key, pull it forward slightly, until the two tabs at the back clear the chassis, then lift it from the back. To replace same, put the front tabs of plastic key in first,  then set the spring into its tandem position at hinge point of  hammer action and move the other end  into the very back of the key’s hollow insides. Ease it down into the bed and push it back, as before,  into rear of the keybed chassis.  If you have questions about the spring action, carefully remove a functioning key from the bed and notice the thin, flat spring as it falls from its position.
