My Favorite Guitarists

During my younger years, I have studied to play the piano but of no success. Then two years ago, I had started to study playing guitar hoping that I can learn at least play a little. But somehow I wish I could play like these five guitarist who are among the favorites.

Tuck Andres’ Man in the Mirror is my favorite. Man in the Mirror is originally sung by Michael Jackson and Tuck Andres version of it by guitar is so amazing. The Man in the Mirror can be found on his solo album called Reckless Precession which was out in the 1990’s. He also had a Christmas album called Hymns, Carols and Songs about snow. He also had albums with Patti where she does the voice.

Jim Croce can be remembered with a song called Time in a Bottle, Operator and Bad, Bad Leroy Brown. My favorite though is the song Lover’s Cross. Jim Croce has been famous in the early 70’s but he died in the airplane crash.

Eric Clapton’s song Tears in Heaven is the one I most remember and loved. This song was written after his son died. Eric Clapton has received six awards for many of this song. He likes blues but his ways on electric guitars are beautiful.

Carlos Santana is a Mexican rock musician. He was featured in Rolling stone Magazine as one of the 100 Greatest Music Guitarists. In 2005, he and Michelle Branch had performed the song called I’m feeling for you and it became a hit. Smooth has also been a hit in the US and in the UK.

James Taylor has started playing guitar in the 1960. His famous hits are California on my mind, sweet baby James and fire and rain. He also received many awards for the songs Handyman; you’ve got a friend, Hourglass, and don’t let me be lonely tonight.

The other guitarist that I like is Paolo Santos and Nyoy Volante. Mymp band also has a good guitarist.
