All about me and music.
Today I am pondering picking up my guitar. I have not felt the drive to pay in awile now. But usually when I do, its like the world melts away. I enjoy those moments of quiet bliss where all my problems have disappeared. Even if I am not making any sort of real music but just “messing around” I still have some great times with it.
I miss playing in a band or with other people. There is no better rush than playing music in front of people. At least for me, there is not.
I used to play drums when I was in the band. We played mostly ACDC or Danzig songs with a few other classic metal songs mixed in. We played only about 10 shows but it was amazing for us. We loved it. Now we kind of had to give that up because of life issues. We haven’t even gotten together in 3 years for anything.
Well now I am trying to learn guitar. It is fun but also somewhat frustrating! My fingers just don’t seem to want to behave or do what I ask them to. Now I just need more practice I suppose.
