As reported by Reuters, Hendrix managed to place the order at the top of the list compiled by an expert jury consisting of renowned guitarist and music and the option writer and senior editor of Rolling Stone
“Jimmy blow up the idea of rock music, he manipulated guitar, whammy bar, studio and stage”. Said guitarist Tom Morello has ever won a Grammy Award.
Besides Hendrix, the other musicians on the list of top ten best guitarists in history is Eric Clapton and BB King
