Don’t own a tuner for your guitar? If you can’t hear what the tones should be like, you might want to get some help from this article.

Fingers & ears!
If you are accustomed to tuning your guitar and just missing tones to vote based on this video for quite a good help. Are you a beginner, look further down
Below this text you’ll get great instruction on how to tune your guitar. You’ll get to know the names of the strings, how you tune your guitar the best way and also how to eventually tune your guitar by ear.
The easiest way to tune your guitar is clear: to buy a so-called guitar “tuner” that can be purchased at any guitar store or on the Internet if you visit instrument or music websites. But here’s the problem…
With a guitar tuner you won’t learn how to tune your guitar by ear (by listening to the tones) which in length is a fantastic thing to be able to do. When you do not have your guitar tuner with you around, you can either use a tuning fork to get the A string (pitch, frequency: 440).
I know this fantastic website which has got a little program on the front page called “Tune-o-matic”. Check it out here: http://www.howtotuneaguitar.org/

Will Dee: Thanks a lot!
– Never say never. You’ll learn how to play it if you really want. Nothing is impossible and to play a guitar nicely you don’t need any talent or skill. Neither does it need an age, my friend.

I had to learn how to tune without a tuner for my viola, and it’s not quite so hard! I just tune with my ears; if the A string is in tune, then it’s easy to get the D, G, and C strings in tune.

I really love guitar. However, I’m not good at it no matter how I tried. In spite of it I still love this instrument.

N. Sun: Cool!
I can tune my guitar almost perfectly with my ears. I hope I’ll get to do it right one day. If the E is in tune, then the rest will be easy enough.
Lapasan: I agree, it’s a really nice instrument. I also like the fact that you can bring it mostly everywhere!
Psingh: Thanks a lot!
J Anderson: Thank you J.
Kaye: I’m glad you think so. By the way I like your profile picture, hehe.
Mika: Thank yoy very much.

Those are some helpful tips. I’ve never able to tune my guitar It will always be too high or low pitched
You have to have a sensitive ear, that’s what it takes.
Useful share!

I once had a guitar tuner that I never got to use too often. It’s important to train our ears so we wouldn’t fumble for tuners every now and then. It takes practice though. For beginners, this is a helpful article indeed.
